MERLOT
Grapevines: From “Can Fontanals” (La Mirona) vineyards.
Varieties: 100% Merlot
Alcoholic degree: 13. % vol.
Volatile Acidity: 0.35% gr. /l.
Total acidity: 3.5 gr. /l
Elaboration: 20-day fermentation and maceration.
Aging: In barrels for a short time and then 12 months in bottle.
Tasting Note: deep cherry red; in nose it is generous, intense with characteristic aromas of Merlot, with very ripe even jammy fruity notes; in mouth, it is ample with excellent sweet tannins which open to fruity notes, rich spicy notes that develop towards a long and pleasant finish.
Due to its aromatic richness, it is best served with poultry and roast-beef.
